Sound familiar?

Does this sound like you?

You understand English, but when it’s time to speak, the words disappear.
You overthink every sentence and worry about making mistakes.
You need English for work, university or travel, and it really matters.
You don’t have anyone to practise speaking with.
You want support, but you’re not sure which type of lesson is right for you.
If you nodded along, you’re in the right place.

This is really common. Speaking confidence grows with regular practice, in a friendly space where making mistakes is completely fine.

Meet your teacher

Hi, I’m Sofiia

I started Senses Speaking Club because I know how much confidence in English can change what feels possible.

I speak English and Ukrainian, and English has been a big part of my own journey. I studied at the University of Toronto and completed my Master’s at the London School of Economics. My work experience includes KPMG, Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy and the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK.

I also spent more than seven years working internationally as airline cabin crew, talking with people from all over the world every day. It taught me that you don’t need perfect English to connect with people. You need practice, patience and a little courage.

In my lessons, I want you to feel relaxed, understood and supported. And if something is confusing, we can always switch to Ukrainian and work it out together.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to speak English well already?

Not at all. Lessons are made for people who understand some English but feel nervous speaking it. We start from where you are right now.

Can complete beginners join?

Yes. If you’re just starting out, Personal 1-to-1 lessons are usually the best fit, and Sofiia can explain things in Ukrainian whenever that helps.

Are lessons online?

Yes. Lessons are currently online, so you can join from wherever you are. In-person activities are planned for the future.

Can teenagers join?

Yes. Learners aged 13 to 17 are very welcome with a parent or guardian involved. We ask that a parent or guardian is part of booking the free introduction.

What happens during the free introduction?

It’s a relaxed 20-minute online chat with Sofiia. You’ll talk about your English, your goals and what you find difficult, and she’ll recommend the lesson format that suits you. There’s no formal test.

Do I have to book lessons after the introduction?

No. The introduction is free and there’s no obligation. Take your time and decide what feels right for you.

Are group and individual lessons available?

Yes, both. The Group Speaking Club is great for regular conversation practice, and Personal 1-to-1 lessons give you focused, individual support. The quiz helps you see which suits you.

Can you help with interviews, work or university English?

Yes. Career & Study English covers interview practice, presentations, professional conversations and preparing for university or studying abroad.

What we collect

When you book a free introduction, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the date and time you choose. If you contact us, we keep the messages you send. The quiz on this page runs in your browser and your answers are not saved.

Why we use it

We use your details to arrange and run your free introduction, answer your questions, and, if you decide to join, organise your lessons. We rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, and on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. We will only send you marketing messages if you agree, and you can opt out at any time.

Learners aged 13 to 17

We welcome learners aged 13 to 17 with a parent or guardian involved. We ask that a parent or guardian books the free introduction and provides their own contact details.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run this service: GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) for our website, booking calendar and contact records, and video-call tools such as Zoom or Google Meet for lessons. Some of these providers store data outside the UK, and they use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them to support you, and delete them no later than 2 years after our last contact, unless we need to keep them longer by law.

Cookies

This page uses essential cookies and similar technology so the page and booking calendar work, and loads fonts from Google. Our providers may also collect basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the service secure.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Just email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
